She said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, "Your other wives boast over me, saying, 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not marry you properly. You are merely a slave he possessed.'"The Messenger of Allah ﷺ replied, "Did I not give you a generous dowry? Did I not free forty of your people?"
قالت لرسول الله ﷺ: إن أزواجك يفخرن علي، يقلن: لم يتزوجك رسول الله ﷺ إنما أنت ملك يمين. فقال رسول الله ﷺ: ألم أعظم صداقك، ألم أعتق أربعين من قومك.

Ishaq narrated it in his Musnad (4/255), from Sufyan, from Ibn Abu Najeeh, from Mujahid, who said, Juwayria bint Harith said, then he mentioned it. Abdul-Razzaq (7/271–272) and Hakim (4/25) both narrated it as well, from the hadith of Ibn Uyayna with his chain of transmission. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
