I heard the Prophet ﷺ say, "Whoever spends a pair of anything in the cause of Allah will be called by the keepers of Paradise, 'So-and-so, come this way!'"Abu Bakr asked, "That is the one who suffers no loss?"The Prophet ﷺ replied, "I hope you will be among them."
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول: من أنفق زوجين في سبيل الله دعته خزنة الجنة: أي فل هلم. فقال أبو بكر: ذاك الذي لا توى عليه؟ فقال النبي ﷺ: أرجو أن تكون منهم.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of the Beginning of Creation (3216), and Muslim in the Book of Zakat (1027:86), both from the hadith of Shayban bin Abdul-Rahman, from Yahya bin Abu Kathir, from Abu Salama bin Abdul-Rahman, that he heard Abu Hurairah, and he related the hadith.
