The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock. A woman is a shepherd in her husband's home and is responsible for her flock."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: كلكم راع، وكلكم مسئول عن رعيته، والمرأة راعية في بيت زوجها، ومسؤولة عن رعيتها.
Bukhari reported it in the Book of Friday Prayer (893), and Muslim reported it in the Book of Leadership (1829), both from the hadith of Abdullah bin Wahb, from Yunus, from Ibn Shihab, from Salim, from Abdullah bin Umar, who mentioned it as part of a long hadith, which is recorded in its proper place.
