The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The previously married woman is entitled to three nights, and the virgin bride to seven."

Ibn Majah (1916) and Darimi (2255) both narrated it from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq, from Ayub, from Abu Qilaba, from Anas, and he mentioned it. Muhammad bin Ishaq is a mudallis and he narrated this with an "an" formula, but Sufyan corroborated him, saying, "Ayub narrated to us with his chain of transmission, similarly."Ibn Hibban related it in his Sahih (4208) from Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Khuzayma, from the original of his book, saying, "Abdul-Jabbar bin Ala narrated to us, saying, Sufyan narrated to us," and he mentioned it. He said, "Ibn Khuzayma narrated to us afterward, saying, Abdul-Jabbar narrated to us, saying, Sufyan narrated to us, saying, We memorized it from Humayd, from Anas, from the Prophet ﷺ."
