Ibn Abu Dunya narrated it in Riqqah wal Bukaa (408), and Abdul-Ghani Maqdisi in Dhikr Nar (107), both through the route of Abdullah bin Wahb Misri, who said, Yahya bin Ayub and Ibn Lahia narrated to us, from Umara bin Ghaziya, from Humayd Tawil, who said, "I heard Anas bin Malik," then he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari Madani, for he is hasan al-hadith, and Abdullah bin Lahia is corroborated, and Abdullah bin Wahb narrated from him, and his narration from him is sound.As for what Imam Ahmad narrated (13343), and Ajurri in Shariah (920), both through the route of Ibn Ayyash, from Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari, that he heard Humayd bin Ubayd, the freedman of Banu Mualla, say, "I heard Thabit Banani narrate from Anas bin Malik," then he mentioned it.Ibn Ayyash is Ismail bin Ayyash Himsi, who mixes things up in his narrations from those who are not from his own region, and Umara bin Ghaziya Ansari is not from his region, rather he is from Madinah. So Ismail bin Ayyash erred in two places, in adding "Thabit" to the chain, and in saying "Humayd bin Ubayd," when it is actually "Humayd Tawil," as mentioned before.As for Humayd bin Ubayd, the freedman of Banu Mualla, it is not known who he is, as Husayni said, while Hafiz said, he is from Madinah, one of the freedmen of the Ansar.
