Ayesha reported,

The Prophet ﷺ used to stay with Zaynab bint Jahsh and drink honey there. So Hafsa and I agreed that whichever of us the Prophet ﷺ came in to would say, "I smell maghafir gum on you. Have you been eating maghafir?"He went in to one of them, and she said this to him.He replied, "No, I drank honey at Zaynab bint Jahsh's, and I will never do it again."Then this was revealed, "Prophet, why do you forbid what Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful" [Tahrim 66:1], concerning Ayesha and Hafsa, and "And when the Prophet confided a matter to one of his wives" [Tahrim 66:3], concerning his words, "No, I drank honey."
