The Prophet ﷺ would not arrive at his family's home unannounced at night. He would only come in during the morning or the evening.
كان النبي ﷺ لا يطرق أهله، كان لا يدخل إلا غدوة أو عشية.
Bukhari related it in the Hajj section (1800), and Muslim in Imarah (1928-180), both from the hadith of Hammam bin Yahya, who said, Ishaq bin Abdullah bin Abu Talha narrated to us, from Anas bin Malik, and he mentioned it.
