The Prophet ﷺ said, "None of you should flog his wife and then have intercourse with her at the end of the day."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا يجلد أحدكم امرأته ثم يجامعها في آخر اليوم.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Marriage (5204), and Muslim in the Book of Paradise, Its Description of Bliss and Its People (2855), through the route of Hisham bin Urwa, from his father, from Abdullah bin Zama, and he mentioned it. The wording given here is Bukhari's, and Muslim's version has a longer account.
