I heard the Prophet ﷺ say to Hassan bin Thabit, "Satirize them," or "Attack them in verse, and Jibreel is with you."
سمعت النبي ﷺ يقول لحسان بن ثابت: اهجهم- أو هاجمهم- وجبريل معك.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Beginning of Creation" (3212), and Muslim in "The Merits of the Companions" (2486), both from the hadith of Shubah, from Adi bin Thabit, from Bara, and he related the hadith. Bukhari also narrated it in "The Military Expeditions" (4124) through the route of Shaybani, from Adi bin Thabit, from Bara bin Azib, in which it states, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to Hassan bin Thabit on the day of Qurayza, "Satirize the polytheists, for Jibreel is with you."
