Abu Hurairah reported,
The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever frees a Muslim man, Allah will redeem from the Fire one of his limbs for every limb of the freed man."Saeed bin Marjana said, "I went with this hadith to Ali bin Husayn, and Ali bin Husayn 
turned to a slave of his for whom Abdullah bin Jafar had offered him ten thousand dirhams or one thousand dinars, and he set him free."

Sahihعن أبي هريرة قال
قال النبي ﷺ: أيما رجل أعتق امرأ مسلما، استنقذ الله بكل عضو منه عضوا منه من النار. قال سعيد بن مرجانة: فانطلقت به إلى علي بن حسين، فعمد علي بن حسين -رضي الله عنهما- إلى عبد له قد أعطاه به عبد الله بن جعفر عشرة آلاف درهم أو ألف دينار، فأعتقه.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Freeing Slaves (2517), and Muslim in the Book of Freeing Slaves (1509:24), both through the route of Asim bin Muhammad Umari, who said, my father narrated to me, Waqid bin Muhammad narrated to me (meaning his brother), Saeed bin Marjana, the companion of Ali bin Husayn, narrated to me, he said, Abu Hurairah 
said to me, and then he related it. Ali bin Husayn is the son of Ali bin Abu Talib, Zayn al-Abidin.Ahmad (9441), Ibn Jarud (968), and Bayhaqi (6/273) all related it through the route of Makki bin Ibrahim, from Abdullah bin Saeed bin Abu Hind, from Ismail bin Abu Hakeem, the freed slave of the family of Zubayr, from Saeed bin Marjana, with an addition, "until a hand is freed for a hand, a leg for a leg, and private parts for private parts." Its narrators are trustworthy.
