A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said, "I am poor and have nothing, but I am the guardian of an orphan."He said, "Eat from your orphan's wealth without being extravagant, wasteful, or hasty, and without accumulating wealth from it for yourself."
أن رجلا أتى النبي ﷺ، فقال: إني فقير، وليس لي شيء، ولي يتيم، فقال: كل من مال يتيمك غير مسرف، ولا مبذر أو مبادر، ولا متأثل.
Narrated by Abu Dawud (2872), Nasai (6/256), Ibn Majah (2718), Ahmad (2/186), and Bayhaqi (6/284), all of them through various routes from Amr bin Shuayb, from his father, from his grandfather, who said, and then he related it. Its chain is hasan because of Amr, for his hadith is hasan.
