A man performed liaan against his wife during the time of the Prophet ﷺ and disowned her child. The Prophet ﷺ separated them and assigned the child to the mother.
أن رجلا لاعن امرأته في زمن النبي ﷺ، وانتفى من ولدها، ففرق النبي ﷺ بينهما، وألحق الولد بالمرأة.
Malik narrated it in the Book of Divorce (40). He said, Nafi told me, from Ibn Umar, and he related it. Bukhari also narrated it in the Book of Inheritance (6749), and Muslim in the Book of Lian (1494), both of them through the route of Malik, with the same wording.
