Tariq ruled that the lifetime gift passes to the heir, based on what Jabir bin Abdullah reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
أن طارقا قضى بالعمرى للوارث لقول جابر بن عبد الله عن رسول الله ﷺ.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Gifts (1625:29), from Abu Bakr bin Abu Shayba and Ishaq bin Ibrahim, both of them from Sufyan bin Uyayna, from Amr, from Sulayman bin Yasar, who mentioned it.
