Abu Humayd reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed a man from the tribe of Asd, called Ibn al-Lutbiyyah, as a tax collector. When he returned, he said, "This is for you, and this is for me, it was given to me as a gift."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ then stood on the pulpit, praised Allah and glorified Him, and said, "What is the matter with an official whom I send to collect, and he comes back saying, 'This is for you, and this was given to me as a gift'? Why did he not sit in his father's house or his mother's house and see whether he would be given gifts or not? By the One in whose hand is Muhammad's soul, none of you takes anything from it without coming on the Day of Resurrection carrying it on his neck, a camel groaning, a cow lowing, or a sheep bleating."

عن أبي حميد الساعدي قال

استعمل رسول الله ﷺ رجلا من الأسد يقال له: ابن اللتبية، فلما قدم قال: هذا لكم، وهذا لي، أهدي لي. قال: فقام رسول الله ﷺ على المنبر، فحمد الله، وأثنى عليه وقال: ما بال عامل أبعثه، فيقول: هذا لكم، وهذا أهدي لي، أفلا قعد في بيت أبيه أو في بيت أمه حتى ينظر أيهدى إليه أم لا! والذي نفس محمد بيده لا ينال أحد منكم منها شيئا إلا جاء به يوم القيامة يحمله على عنقه، بعير له رغاء، أو بقرة لها خوار، أو شاة تيعر.
