My father Bashir bin Saad came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "Messenger of Allah, Amra bint Rawaha has given birth to a boy whom I have named Numan. She refused to nurse him until I assigned to him a garden of mine, the best property I own. Now she insists that I have the Prophet ﷺ witness this."The Prophet ﷺ asked him, "Do you have any other children besides him?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Do not call me to witness anything but what is just, for I will not bear witness to an injustice."

Ibn Hibban (5107) narrated it from Umar bin Muhammad Hamdani, who said, Muhammad bin Abdul-Ala told us, who said, Mutamir bin Sulayman told us, who said, I read to Fudayl, from Abu Hurayz, that Amir told him that Numan bin Bashir said, and he mentioned it. Its isnad is hasan because of Abu Hurayz, who is Abdullah bin Husayn Azdi, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan.
