My father took me to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to have him witness a gift he had given me.The Prophet ﷺ asked, "Do you have other sons besides him?"He replied, "Yes."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Treat them all equally."
-: انطلق بي أبي إلى رسول الله ﷺ لا يشهده على عطية أعطانيها، فقال: هل لك بنون سواه؟ قال: نعم، قال: سو بينهم.
Nasai (3687) and Ahmad (18359) narrated it, and Ibn Hibban (5098) graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Fitr bin Khalifa, from Abu Duha Muslim bin Sabih, who said, "I heard Numan bin Bashir say," and he related the hadith. Its chain of transmission is sahih.
