The Prophet ﷺ passed by a date lying on the road and said, "Were it not that I fear it might be from the charity, I would have eaten it."
مر النبي ﷺ بتمرة في الطريق، قال: لولا أني أخاف أن تكون من الصدقة لأكلتها.
Bukhari reported it in the chapter on lost property (2431), and Muslim reported it in the chapter on zakat (1071), both from the hadith of Sufyan, from Mansur, from Talha bin Musarrif, from Anas bin Malik, who narrated it.
