The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Beware of injustice, for injustice will be layers of darkness on the Day of Resurrection. Beware of obscenity, for Allah loves neither obscenity nor vulgar speech. Beware of stinginess, for stinginess destroyed those who came before you. It commanded them to sever ties, so they cut off their relatives. It commanded them to commit immorality, so they committed it. It commanded them to be miserly, so they were miserly."A man asked, "Messenger of Allah, which form of Islam is best?"He replied, "That the Muslims are safe from your tongue and your hand."The man asked, "Messenger of Allah, which migration is best?"He answered, "That you abandon what your Lord dislikes."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ also said, "Migration is of two kinds, the migration of the settled dweller and the migration of the bedouin. As for the bedouin, he responds when called and obeys when commanded. As for the settled dweller, his trial is the greater of the two, and his reward is the greater of the two."
Ahmad narrated it (6837), and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (5176), as did Hakim (11/1), all of them from the hadith of Shuba, from Amr bin Mura, from Abdullah bin Harith, from Abu Kathir Zubaydi, from Abdullah bin Amr, who related it.Hakim said, "It is sahih, free from the narrations of the discredited in the text of this hadith." He also said, "This very hadith is found with Amash, from Amr bin Mura, who related it."
