The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade a town dweller from selling on behalf of a desert dweller.
نهي رسول الله ﷺ أن يبيع حاضر لباد.
Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on business transactions (2159), from Abdullah bin Sabbah, who said, Abu Ali Hanafi narrated to us, from Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Dinar, who said, my father narrated to me, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he mentioned it.
