The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When you buy food, do not sell it until you have taken full possession of it."
كان رسول الله ﷺ يقول: إذا ابتعت طعاما فلا تبعه حتى تستوفيه.
Muslim reported it in the Book of Sales (1529), from Ishaq bin Ibrahim, who said, Rawh informed us, who said, Ibn Jurayj narrated to us, who said, Abu Zubayr narrated to me that he heard Jabir bin Abdullah say, and he mentioned it.
