The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever buys food should not sell it until he has taken full possession of it."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: من ابتاع طعاما فلا يبعه حتى يستوفيه.
Malik narrated it in al-Buyu (40) from Nafi, from Abdullah bin Umar, and he mentioned it.Bukhari narrated it in al-Buyu (2126), and Muslim in al-Buyu (1526), both of them by way of Malik, with the same wording.
