I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, when he permitted the owners of araya palms to sell their fruit by estimation, saying, "One wasq, two wasqs, three, or four."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ حين أذن لأصحاب العرايا أن يبيعوها بخرصها يقول: الوسق، والوسقين، والثلاثة، والأربعة.
Imam Ahmad (14868), Abu Yaala (1780), Ibn Hibban (5008), and Ibn Khuzayma (2469) all narrated it, and the latter two graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Muhammad bin Ishaq, who said, "Muhammad bin Yahya bin Habban told me, from his uncle Wasi bin Habban, from Jabir," and he related it.Its isnad is hasan because of Muhammad bin Ishaq, who is a mudallis, except that here he explicitly stated that he heard it directly.The "awsuq" is the plural of wasq, which is sixty saa. A saa is five and a third pounds. The total is three hundred saa, which today is equivalent to approximately 700 kilograms.
