I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say during the Farewell Pilgrimage, "Indeed, every form of usury from the days of ignorance is abolished. You are entitled to your principal sums. You shall neither wrong nor be wronged."
سمعت رسول الله ﷺ في حجة الوداع يقول: ألا أن كل ربا من ربا الجاهلية موضوع، لكم رؤوس أ موالكم لا تظلمون، ولا تظلمون.
Abu Dawud (3334), Tirmidhi (3087), Ibn Majah (1851), and Ahmad (15507) all narrated it through the route of Shabib bin Gharqada Baraqi, from Sulayman bin Amr bin Ahwas, from his father, and he mentioned it. Tirmidhi said, "This is a hasan sahih hadith."I say, its chain is hasan due to Sulayman bin Amr bin Ahwas, for a group of narrators reported from him, Ibn Hibban graded him trustworthy, no criticism has been mentioned of him, and this hadith of his has an established basis.
