Abu Salih reported,

I heard Abu Saeed al-Khudri say, "A dinar for a dinar and a dirham for a dirham, like for like. Whoever gives more or takes more has engaged in usury."I said to him, "Ibn Abbas says something different from this."He replied, "I met Ibn Abbas and said to him, 'Tell me about what you say. Is it something you heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, or did you find it in the Book of Allah ?'He answered, 'I did not hear it from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor did I find it in the Book of Allah, but Usama bin Zayd told me that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Usury is only in deferred transactions."'"

عن أبي صالح قال

سمعت أبا سعيد الخدرى يقول: الدينار بالدينار والدرهم بالدرهم مثلا بمثل، من زاد أو ازداد فقد أربي. فقلت له: إن ابن عباس يقول غير هذا فقال: لقد لقيت ابن عباس، فقلت: أرأيت هذا الذى تقول أشيء سمعته من رسول الله ﷺ، أو وجدته في كتاب الله عز وجل؟ فقال: لم أسمعه من رسول الله ﷺ، ولم أجده فى كتاب الله، ولكن حدثنى أسامة بن زيد أن النبي ﷺ قال: الربا في النسيئة.
