The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "A Dinar for a Dinar and a dirham for a dirham, with no excess between them."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: الدينار بالدينار، والدرهم بالدرهم لا فضل بينهما.
Malik narrated it in the Book of Sales (29) from Musa bin Ibrahim, from Abu Hubab Saeed bin Yasar, from Abu Hurairah, and mentioned it. Muslim narrated it in the Book of Musaqah (1588:85) through the route of Malik with the same wording.
