The Prophet ﷺ said, "There is no day in which the servants wake up except that two angels descend. One of them says, 'O Allah, grant the one who spends a replacement,' and the other says, 'O Allah, grant the one who withholds destruction.'"
أن النبي ﷺ قال: ما من يوم يصبح العباد فيه إلا ملكان ينزلان فيقول أحدهما: اللهم أعط منفقا خلفا، ويقول الآخر: اللهم أعط ممسكا تلفا.
Bukhari related it in the Book of Zakat (1442), and Muslim in the Book of Zakat (1010), both from the hadith of Sulayman bin Bilal, who said, Muawiya bin Abu Muzarrid told me, from Saeed bin Yasar, from Abu Hurairah, and he narrated it, and their wording is identical.
