An Arabi passed by with a sheep, so I said, "Will you sell it to me for three dirhams?"He replied, "No, by Allah."Then he sold it to me. I mentioned this to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he said, "He has sold his Hereafter for his worldly life."

Ibn Hibban (4909) narrated it from Abdullah bin Salih Bukhari in Baghdad, who said, Yaqub bin Humayd bin Kasib told us, who said, Ibn Abu Fudayk told us, from Rabia bin Uthman, from Muhammad bin Munkadir, from Rabia bin Abdullah bin Hudayr, from Abu Saeed Khudri, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Ibn Abu Fudayk, who is Muhammad bin Ismail bin Muslim bin Abu Fudayk (with the diminutive form) al-Daylami, whose hadith is hasan.
