Jabir bin Abdullah reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions passed by a woman, and she slaughtered a sheep for them and prepared them a meal. When he returned, she said, "Messenger of Allah, we have prepared food for you, so come in and eat."So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and his companions entered. They would not begin eating until the Prophet ﷺ began. The Prophet ﷺ took a morsel but was unable to swallow it. He said, "This is a sheep that was slaughtered without the permission of its owners."The woman replied, "Prophet of Allah, we do not stand on ceremony with the family of Saad bin Muadh, nor do they with us. We take from them, and they take from us."

عن جابر بن عبد الله

أن رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه مروا بامرأة، فذبحت لهم شاة، واتخذت لهم طعاما، فلما رجع، قالت: يا رسول الله إنا اتخذنا لكم طعاما، فادخلوا، فكلوا. فدخل رسول الله ﷺ وأصحابه، وكانوا لا يبدوون حتى يبتدئ النبي ﷺ، فأخذ النبي ﷺ القمة فلم يستطع أن يسينها، فقال النبي ﷺ: هذه شاة ذبحت بغير إذن أهلها فقالت المرأة: يا نبي الله إنا لا تحتشم من آل سعد بن معاد، ولا يحتشمون منا نأخذ منهم، ويأخذون منا.
