The Prophet ﷺ bought food from a Jewish man on credit and pledged his armor as collateral.
أن النبي ﷺ اشترى من يهودي طعاما إلى أجل ورهنه درعه.
Bukhari reported it in the chapter on pledges (2509), and Muslim in the chapter on sharecropping (162:126), both through the route of Abdul-Wahid bin Ziyad, who said, Amash narrated to us, saying, "We discussed pledges and guarantees in advance payment in the presence of Ibrahim, and Ibrahim said, Aswad narrated to us, from Ayesha," and he mentioned it.
