The Prophet ﷺ said, "Allah does not accept the prayer of a woman who has reached the age of menstruation except with a head covering."
عن النبي ﷺ قال: لا يقبل الله صلاة حائض إلا بخمار.
Reported by Abu Dawud (641), Tirmidhi (377), and Ibn Majah (655), and Ibn Khuzayma (775) graded it sahih, and Ibn Hibban (1712) related it from him, as did Hakim (1/251), all of them through various routes from Hammad bin Salama, from Qatada, from Muhammad bin Sirin, from Safiya bint Harith, from Ayesha, and she related it. Its chain of transmission is sahih, as mentioned previously in the Book of Prayer.
