I went on a military expedition with the Prophet ﷺ, and he asked, "What do you think of your camel? Will you sell it?"I said, "Yes," and I sold it to him. When he arrived in Medina, I went to him in the morning with the camel, and he gave me its price.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Loans (2385), and Muslim in the Book of the Travelers' Prayer (11:715), both through Jareer, from Mughira, from Shaybi, from Jabir, who mentioned it. The wording given here is Bukhari's, while Muslim's version is longer, adding at the end, "and he returned it to me."
