The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever dies owing a dinar or a dirham will have it paid from his good deeds, for there will be no dinar or dirham there."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: من مات وعليه دينار أو درهم قضي من حسناته ليس ثم دينار ولا درهم.
Ibn Majah (2414) narrated it from Muhammad bin Thalaba bin Sawa, who said, "My uncle Muhammad bin Sawa narrated to us, from Husayn Muallim, from Matar Warraq, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar," and he mentioned it.Its chain is hasan because of Matar Warraq. There is disagreement about him, though his hadith is generally hasan, except in his narration from Ataa, where he is judged weak. He is among the men of the Sahih.Munziri also graded it hasan in Targheeb wal-Tarheeb (2802).
