Dajjal will approach every spring and watering place except Madinah and Makkah, for Allah has forbidden them to him, and the angels stand guard at their gates.
إن الدجال يرد كل ماء ومنهل إلا المدينة، ومكة حرمهما الله عليه، وقامت الملائكة بأبوابها.
Ahmad (14954) and Hakim (4/530) both narrated it through Ibrahim bin Tahman, from Abu Zubayr, from Jabir, who related it. Its chain is hasan because of Abu Zubayr. Haythami said in Majma(7/344), "Ahmad narrated it through two chains, the men of one of which are the men of the Sahih."
