I had a she-camel that was my share from the spoils of war, and the Prophet ﷺ had given me another she-camel from the one-fifth share. When I wanted to consummate my marriage with Fatimah, the daughter of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, I arranged with a goldsmith from Banu Qaynuqa to set out with me so that we could bring back idhkhir grass, which I intended to sell to the goldsmiths and use the proceeds to help with my wedding feast.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Sales (2089), and Muslim narrated it in the Book of Drinks (1979), both by way of Abdullah bin Wahb, who said, Yunus bin Yazid told me, from Ibn Shihab, who said, Ali bin Husayn bin Ali told me, that Husayn bin Ali informed him, that Ali said. Then he mentioned it.His saying, "a goldsmith." In Muslim's version, "and with me was a goldsmith." The goldsmith's craft is goldsmithing, which is the making of jewelry from silver, gold, and the like.
