The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The buyer and seller each have the option to revoke the sale as long as they have not parted."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: البيعان بالخيار ما لم يتفرقا.
Ibn Majah (2183) narrated it through several routes from Abdul-Samad, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Qatada, from Hasan, from Samura, and he related it.Ahmad (20241) also transmitted it by this same route, and Nasai (4481-4482) and Bayhaqi (5/271) and others also narrated it through other routes from Qatada. Its isnad is sahih, and Hasan here is Basri, whose hearing from Samura has been established without qualification, for the hadith of the aqiqah and other matters, as I explained previously.
