The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a man driving a sacrificial camel and said, "Ride it."The man replied, "Messenger of Allah, it is a sacrificial camel."The Prophet ﷺ said, "Ride it, woe to you," on the second or third time.
أن رسول الله ﷺ رأى رجلا يسوق بدنة، فقال: اركبها فقال: يا رسول الله، إنها بدنة فقال: اركبها ويلك في الثانية أو الثالثة.
Malik narrated it in Hajj (139), from Abu Zinad, from Araj, from Abu Hurairah, as mentioned.Bukhari also narrated it in Hajj (1989), and Muslim in Hajj (1322: 371), both of them through Malik, with the same chain, similarly.
