Abu Shatha reported,

I heard Ibn Umar say, "The Prophet ﷺ came walking between Usama bin Zayd and Bilal until he entered the Kaabah, in which there was a wooden beam laid across. When Bilal came out, I asked him, 'How did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do it?'Bilal replied, 'He left a third of the beam on his right and prayed in the remaining two-thirds.'"The narrator said, I asked, "How many units of prayer did he perform?"He answered, "I did not ask Bilal about that."

عن أشعث بن أبي الشعثاء، عن أبيه، قال

سمعت ابن عمر يقول: جاء النبي ﷺ يمشي بين أسامة بن زيد، وبلال حتى دخل الكعبة، وفيها خشبة معترضة، فلما خرج بلال سألته: كيف صنع رسول الله ﷺ؟ قال ترك من الخشبة ثلثها عن يمينه، وصلى في الثلث الباقي. قال: قلت: كم صلى؟ قال: لم أسأل بلالا عنها.
