The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The emigrant may stay in Makkah for three days after completing his rites."
قال رسول الله ﷺ: يقيم المهاجر بمكة بعد قضاء نسكه ثلاثا.
Bukhari narrated it in The Virtues (3933), and Muslim in Hajj (1352:442), both through Abdul-Rahman bin Humayd Zuhri, who said, I heard Umar bin Abdul-Aziz say to those sitting with him, "What have you heard about residing in Makkah?" Saaib bin Yazid said, I heard Ala bin Hadrami say (then he mentioned it). The wording is Muslim's.
