She said, "I performed the Farewell Pilgrimage with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I saw him after he had cast the pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqaba and was leaving on his mount. With him were Bilal and Usama. One of them was leading his mount, while the other held up a garment over the head of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to shield him from the sun."She said, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spoke at length, then I heard him say, 'If a mutilated slave," and I think she said, "a black one, is placed in authority over you, leading you according to the Book of Allah the Exalted, then listen to him and obey.'"
Muslim narrated it in the Hajj (1298) through Zayd bin Abu Unaysa, from Yahya bin Husayn, and he mentioned it.He also narrated it in the Leadership (1838) from Muhammad bin Jafar, who said, Shuba narrated to us, from Yahya bin Husayn, who said, I heard my grandmother relate that she heard the Prophet ﷺ delivering a sermon during the Farewell Hajj, and she mentioned it similarly. Then he narrated it through Bahz, who said, Shuba narrated to us, with this same chain, but he did not mention "an Abyssinian with mutilated limbs." He added that she heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina or at Arafat.I say, the narration of Zayd bin Abu Unaysa is explicit that she heard him at Mina, after he had thrown pebbles at Jamra Uqba.
