The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The angels do not accompany a group in which there is a dog or a bell."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: لا تصحب الملائكة رفقة فيها كلب ولا جرس.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Dress and Adornment (2113), from Abu Kamil Fudayl bin Husayn Jahdari, who said, Bishr, meaning Ibn Mufaddal, narrated to us, who said, Suhayl narrated to us, from his father, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned it.
