Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah 
takes pride before the angels in the people standing at Arafat, saying, 'Look at My servants, dishevelled and dust-covered.'"

Hasanعن أبي هريرة، قال
قال رسول الله ﷺ: إن الله عز وجل يباهي الملائكة بأهل عرفات، يقول: انظروا إلى عبادي شعثا غبرا.
Imam Ahmad (8047) narrated it from Abu Qatan and Ismail bin Umar, who both said, Yunus narrated to us, from Mujahid Abu Hajjaj, from Abu Hurairah, and he mentioned the hadith. Its chain is hasan because of Yunus, who is Yunus bin Abu Ishaq, for he is hasan al-hadith. Abu Qatan is Amr bin Haytham bin Qatan (with a fatha on the qaf), a trustworthy narrator among the men of Muslim. Ibn Khuzayma (2839), Ibn Hibban (3852), and Hakim (1/465) all graded it sahih, all of them through the route of Yunus bin Abu Ishaq. Hakim said, "Sahih according to the criterion of the two Shaykhs." But the correct view is that Yunus bin Abu Ishaq is among the men of Muslim alone.
