Daraqutni (2619) narrated it from Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Abdul-Aziz Baghawi, who said, Dawud bin Amr Musaybi told us, Mansur bin Abu Aswad told us, from Abdul-Malik, from Ata, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Mansur bin Abu Aswad, for he is truthful but accused of leaning toward Shiism, as stated in Taqrib, while the rest of its narrators are reliable. Abdul-Malik is Ibn Abu Sulayman Arzami, one of the narrators found in Sahih Muslim, whom Ibn Main, Ahmad, and others deemed reliable. He was a frequent narrator from Ata bin Abu Rabah, though Shuba and others criticized him because of his hadith about pre-emption rights (shufah), which he narrated from Ata from Jabir. Ata here is Ibn Abu Rabah.Ibn Abdul-Hadi said in Tanqih (3/520), "The source of this hadith is not found in the Sunan works, but its chain is sahih." I say, Abdul-Malik was not alone in narrating it from Ata, for Hajjaj bin Artah followed him in it, as did Muhammad bin Ubaydullah Arzami, who is discarded as a narrator (matruk), and both versions are found in Daraqutni under numbers 2630 and 2631.These hadiths provide evidence for the majority who held that one performing Hajj and Umrah together (qarin) performs only a single tawaf. This is the well-known view attributed to Ahmad, that the qarin combining Hajj and Umrah is only bound by what is required of one performing Hajj alone, and that a single tawaf and a single sai suffice for both his Hajj and his Umrah. This was stated explicitly in a report from a group of his companions, and it is also the view of Ibn Umar and Jabir bin Abdullah. Malik, Shafii, Ishaq, Abu Thawr, and Ibn Munzir held the same view.Tirmidhi said, "This is the practice followed by some scholars among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others, who said that the qarin performs a single tawaf. This is the view of Shafii, Ahmad, and Ishaq. But some scholars among the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ and others said that he performs two circuits of tawaf and two circuits of sai, and this is the view of Thawri and the scholars of Kufa."
