The Prophet ﷺ, while circumambulating the Kaabah, passed by a man whose hand was tied to another man with a strap, a thread, or something similar. The Prophet ﷺ cut it with his own hand, then said, "Lead him by the hand."
أن النبي ﷺ مر وهو يطوف بالكعبة بإنسان ربط يده إلى إنسان بسير أو بخيط أو بشيء غير ذلك، فقطعه النبي ﷺ بيده ثم قال: قله بيده.
Bukhari narrated it in the Book of Hajj (1620), from Ibrahim bin Musa, who said, Hisham narrated to us, that Ibn Jurayj informed them, he said, Sulayman Ahwal informed me, that Tawus informed him, from Ibn Abbas, and he related it as mentioned before. Bukhari also narrated it in the Book of Oaths and Vows (6703) with the same chain, and in it he said, "He was leading a man by a nose ring."The khizama is a ring made of hair or fur, placed in the partition between the two nostrils of the camel, through which the lead rope is fastened to make it easier to guide. So said Hafiz in Fath al-Bari (589/11).Suyuti said, "It is placed on one side of the camel's nostrils."
