I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a she-camel touching the Black Stone with his staff.
رأيت رسول الله ﷺ على ناقة يستلم الحجر بمحجنه.
Ahmad (15414), Abu Yaala (928), and Tabarani in Al-Kabir (19/80) and in Al-Awsat (8024) all narrated it from the hadith of Muhriz bin Awn bin Abu Awn, who said, Quran bin Tamam Asadi told us, Ayman bin Nabil told us, from Qudama bin Abdullah, and he related it.Its chain is hasan because of Ayman bin Nabil Habashi Makki, about whom there is disagreement, though his hadith is hasan. Ibn Adi said, "He has hadiths, and there is no harm in him." Haythami said in Al-Majma (2/243), after attributing it to these sources, "Its narrators are trustworthy, and what is said about some of them does not cause harm."
