Anas reported, "I heard the Prophet ﷺ pronouncing the talbiyah for Hajj and Umrah together."Bakr said, I mentioned this to Ibn Umar, who said, "He pronounced the talbiyah for Hajj alone."So I met Anas and told him what Ibn Umar had said. Anas replied, "They treat us as if we were nothing but children. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Here I am for Umrah and Hajj.'"
عن أنس، قال: سمعت النبي ﷺ يلبي بالحج والعمرة جميعا. قال بكر: فحدثت بذلك ابن عمر، فقال: لبي بالحج وحده فلقيت أنسا فحدثته بقول ابن عمر فقال أنس: ما تعدوننا إلا صبيانا سمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول: لبيك عمرة وحجا.
Muslim narrated it in the Book of Hajj (1232:185) from Surayj bin Yunus, who said, Hushaym narrated to us, Humayd narrated to us, from Bakr, from Anas, and he related it. He also narrated it by another route from Habib bin Shaheed, from Bakr bin Abdullah, in similar fashion.Bukhari mentioned part of it in the Book of Military Expeditions (4353, 4354) through the route of Bishr bin Mufaddal, from Humayd al-Tawil, except that he did not mention Anas's statement, "You count us as nothing but children." For this reason, there is disagreement over whether this is one hadith or two.
