The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said in his talbiyah, "Here I am, God of Truth, here I am."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال في تلبيته: لبيك إله الحق لبيك.
Nasai (2752) and Ibn Majah (2920) narrated it. Ibn Khuzayma (2624), Ibn Hibban (3800), and Hakim (1/449) all graded it sahih, all of them from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz bin Abdullah bin Abu Salama, from Abdullah bin Fadl, who was told it by Abdul-Rahman Araj, from Abu Hurairah, and he related it.Its chain of transmission is sahih. However, Nasai said, "I do not know of anyone who traced this back with a connected chain from Abdullah bin Fadl except Abdul-Aziz, while Ismail bin Umaya narrated it from him as a mursal report." And he said in Sunan al-Kubra, "I do not know of anyone who gave this hadith a connected chain other than Abdullah bin Fadl, and Abdullah bin Fadl is trustworthy, but Ismail bin Umaya differed with him."I say, his statements differ as to whom exactly Ismail differed with, and I have not yet come across his narration. Nasai's affirmation of Abdullah bin Fadl's reliability points to an acceptance of his addition.
