The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me when I was no longer in the state of ihram, after we had returned from Mecca.
تزوجني رسول الله ﷺ وأنا حلال بعدما رجعنا من مكة.
Ahmad (26815) narrated it from Yahya bin Ishaq, who said, "Hammad bin Salama told us, from Habib Shahid, from Maymun bin Mihran, from Yazid bin Asam, from Maymuna," and he mentioned it.Abu Dawud (1839), Tahawi in his "Mushkil" (5804), and Ibn Hibban (4137) all narrated it, all through the hadith of Hammad, with similar wording, "The Prophet ﷺ married me while we were both free of ihram, at Sarif."Her statement, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ married me... after we had returned from Makkah," means that he consummated the marriage with her there.
