The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "There are five harmful animals that may be killed even within the sacred precinct: the crow, the kite, the scorpion, the mouse, and the rabid dog."
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: خمس من الدواب كلهن فاسق يقتلهن في الحرم: الغراب، والحدأة، والعقرب، والفارة، والكلب العقور.
Bukhari narrated it in "The Recompense of Hunting" (1829), and Muslim (1198: 71), both through the route of Ibn Wahb, who said, "Yunus informed me, from Ibn Shihab, from Urwa bin Zubayr, from Ayesha," and he related it. The wording given is Bukhari's.
