Nabi bin Wahb reported,

We set out with Abban bin Uthman, and when we reached Malal, Umar bin Ubaydullah complained of pain in his eyes. By the time we reached al-Rawha, the pain had grown severe, so he sent word to Abban bin Uthman asking him about it.Abban sent back the reply, "Apply aloes as a poultice to them, for Uthman رضي الله عنه reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ concerning a man who complains of pain in his eyes while in the state of ihram, that he should apply aloes as a poultice to them."

Sahih
