Amra reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The jihad of the elderly, the young, the weak, and the woman is Hajj and Umrah."
عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: جهاد الكبير والصغير والضعيف والمرأة الحج والعمرة.
Nasai (2626) and Bayhaqi (4/350) both narrated it from the hadith of Layth bin Saad, from Khalid bin Yazid, from Saeed bin Abu Hilal, from Yazid bin Abdullah bin Had, from Muhammad bin Ibrahim, from Abu Salama, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it. Its isnad is sahih.Imam Ahmad (9459) narrated it through another route from Haywa, from Ibn Hadi, from Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Harith Taymi, from Abu Hurairah, who mentioned it. But there is a break in it, for Muhammad bin Ibrahim bin Harith did not hear from Abu Hurairah.As for Haythami's statement in Al-Majmu (3/206), "Ahmad narrated it, and its men are the men of sahih, but there is a break in it, for Muhammad bin Ibrahim Taymi did not hear from Abu Hurairah, because he was born in the year 47 AH, and Abu Hurairah died in the year 58 AH." Abu Hatim said, "He did not hear from Jabir," even though Jabir died after the seventies. And the isnad is connected through another route, as you can see.
